Hey! I'm Alex, a Research Fellow at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia.

With a background as an Electrical Engineer, I am currently exploring the development of complex robotic systems. I am interested in leveraging Control systems, AI and Physics Simulation to bridge the gap between digital models and real-world robots.

Previously, I served as an Assistant Professor in the Digital Systems and Microprocessors Lab at the Central University of Venezuela, where I shared my passion for hardware-software integration.

Some other interests I enjoy include table tennis, music, video games, and watching films, which serve as sources of inspiration for me.
